Rejoice I say Rejoice!

Today, Pastor announced that it is the 3months mark since the pledge, and 54% of the pledge has been fulfilled! Wow! Pastor Zhuang shared in prayer meet 2 weeks ago that it is his joy to announce that he and Pastor Audrey had fulfilled their building fund too.and I fulfilled mine today. Praise God! 3 months ago, i was asking God if it was ever possible because i have made changes to the amt as compared to the prev years. Its financially stretching given that i am a self employed student. Never thought of fulfilling it in just 3 months. Indeed God is good.
Now i am expecting of something great to burst forth. Be it financially, spiritually, relationships, academically, dreams and visions, God i am expectant of a breakthrough. Your word has always accompanied me throughout the building fund. As we build your house, you will build our house!! All of your promises are yes and amen, no words that precedes from your mouth shall fall to the ground and be void!! am expecting an interview soon, probably in this month, let it be so smooth and well-done!
Am also very excited for the marketplace church to take place. From inside out, everybody is preparing. With Pastor's preaching flowing in line the marketplace church, you could really see it taking place, even before the foundations are being laid, the church within is marketplacing itself .seeing it taking place, Right smack in town, church without walls, birthing the cultural mandate, sending out missionaries to everywhere. We're going to make a BIG impact to the entire region! One building fund less means 2 more to go only! In 3 years time before we move over, i believe the church will be moving in a whole new level as of now! Wonder how big is it going to get. 30,000 40,000 or 50,000, maybe next time chec, church office, everything will combine? Leave it to God and the management, He has the final say on how he want his house to be like.
Pastor Ulf spoke powerfully today on missions. I always like Pastor Ulf. He is really one of God's right hand man. Everything that he says is prophetic to the church. Today's message was a long one yet i enjoyed every single part of it. To me, Pastor seems like a very nice grandfather telling his grandchildren the things that he did and how he served the Lord when he was younger. Its not all glamourous or comfortable in the missions field. He shared on how dirty the eating conditions were, how bullets fly by day. Thats the kind of attitude we should adopt when we serve-it doesnt matter the environment you are in, the situation you are placed, the conditions that you have to go through--just to please Him. No wonder Pastor Ulf and all the great men of God are soaring in the realm of the spirit, ministries are flourishing!
many things to digest over the solid food prepared by Pastor A.R Bernard and Pastor Ulf for the past 2 weeks, wonder how i long i can truly be marinated fully.

But i know it will take me quite some time to get over the joy of fulfiling building fund. Praise God!

Financial Testimonies
Been experiencing a high volume of little financial testimonies throughout this week.
been sick during this one entire week, all ended after i went for sat service. It was a fantastic service. Delirious was awesome and Pastor preached a powerful message of becoming a new singaporean. Notes for that day is worth 3 page long! Delirious has a solid display of videography during each praise and worship which really brought us through the veil into the holy of holies in double quick time. That service, i laid my hands on my stomach, asking God to heal my one week worth of diarrhoea. It has been a really tiring experience as i fly in and out of the toilet. Even during sat, i was still hoping in and out and the toilet count of the day stands at 6. As i prayed, i could sense healing taking place. Never experienced it in realtime before. I was excited to 'test' it after service. You know how Pastor will ask the people to test if they are really healed. People with the sprain in the neck had to turn their head left and right to feel if there's still any pain. I was tempted to head for the toilet.
sounds gross? but i never did.
In fact after which went out to the cosy cafe for a nice meal and drink with weisiang, cheryl and grace. Finally gave one bible study for weisiang after such a long break. I felt that it was a special bible study and God make it come to pass. We had our bible study at a coffeeshop table that we found outside a coffeeshop that was closed, pushed it out so that we could have it under the street lamps! Bs under the moon! Hope that it was a good bs for weisiang, took extra effort to prepare it that morning.
oh yah....my financial testimony
1. thanksgiving day last year, parked my car on a WHITE marking season parking lot and was given a ticket of $50. Really spoiled my night, as its building fund period and i was really pretty low in fundings. Wrote a letter stating my reasons, and they waived it. God is good. I must be pretty anointed in writing appeals for parking summons. haha. JC GP lessons put to good use! wrote quite a couple in 2006 for my dad and even my relatives!
2. went to cmpb as i was given a charge for not attending my ns ippt session where in fact i had valid reasons because i was sick and was at the camp but end up seeing the doctor. The army officer practically want to push the $50 fine to me and push to close the case. He asked if i pleaded guilty or do i want to appeal through court martial which i felt at the back of my mind was simply ridiculous. Thats how SAF do things....sometimes people do things just to have easy way out and also cover themselves. Holy Spirit really prompts and allows me to speak in boldness to explain my case. Its a bit weird and this is the same kind of feeling i had when i went up to the rental scam guy late last year. The kind of assurance an boldness. Yup....$50 again was once waived off.
3. Got a $100 voucher from starhub. Its extraordinary because they din issue me with one. I asked for it. Ask and it shall be given. Called the centre and asked for a recontract voucher. Sold my phone to a Ntu student at a really good price. Market value was ard $120->$180. Sold my no warranty, edge chipped off, sticker peeling phone at $220.
4. Tmr, am planning to get my new phone, k800i. Hope that they have stock. If nothing goes wrong, i dont have to pay anything for the new phone. In fact, i will get an extra $22 from the sale of the old one. Praise God!
5. Starhub has this promo whereby if a user signs a new service and has 2 services under him, he is entitled to a free dvd camcorder. Spoken to my mum and we're planning to cancel the scv under dad's name to mine so as to enjoy the free samsung dvd camcorder. Worth $899.
6. Tuition assignments that pop out suddenly. Yixiong's $200 commission and Eileen's $95 commission at end of the month, and pending 2 more assignments worth ($75+$130)
hmm...calc all these...
its $50+$50+$50(phone sale)+$100(voucher)+899+$295=$1200++
And what have i been doing these few weeks to enjoy all these?
just thinking of how to finish fulfiling b.f
the power of thought......
wonder what will happen when i fulfil them
Maybe i should look up at the skies again tmr... =)

57 Cents

A sobbing little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it was "too crowded."
"I can't go to Sunday School," she sobbed to the pastor as he
walked by. Seeing her shabby, unkempt appearance, the
pastor guessed the reason and, taking her by the hand, took her
inside and found a place for her in the Sunday school class.
The child was so happy that they found room for her, and she
went to bed that night thinking of the children who have
no place to worship Jesus.
Some two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor
tenement buildings. Her parents called for the kind-hearted pastor
who had befriended their daughter to handle the final arrangements.
As her poor little body was being moved, a worn and crumpled red
purse was found which seemed to have been rummaged
from some trash dump.
Inside was found 57 cents and a note, scribbled in
a child's handwriting, which read:
"This is to help build the little church bigger so more children
can go to Sunday School."
For two years she had saved for this offering of love. When the
Pastor tearfully read that note, he knew instantly what he would do.
Carrying this note and the cracked, red pocketbook to the
pulpit, he told the story of her unselfish love and devotion.
He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise
enough money for the larger building.
But the story does not end there...
A newspaper learned of the story and published it. It was read by a
wealthy realtor who offered them a parcel of land worth many thousands of dollars.
When told that the church could not pay so much, he offered
to sell it to the little church for 57 cents.
Church members made large donations.
Checks came from far and wide.
Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00....
a huge sum for that time (near the turn of the century).
Her unselfish love had paid large dividends.
When you are in the city of Philadelphia, look up Temple Baptist
Church, with a seating capacity of 3,300. And be sure to visit
Temple University, where thousands of students are educated.
Have a look too, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and at a Sunday School building which houses hundreds of beautiful children,
built so that no child in the area will ever need to be left
outside during Sunday school time.
In one of the rooms can be seen the picture of the sweet face of the
little girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such
remarkable history. Alongside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor,
Dr. Russell H. Conwell, author of the book, "Acres of Diamonds."
This is a true story, which goes to show
WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH 57 CENTS.
Really reminded me of the woman with 2 mites. Different Amount Equal Sacrifice. 57cents must have meant a lot back in 1886...

Still No Donations...
Recently i just replaced my UOB debit card, the card was promptly delivered to my place of which i had to link it up with my bank account and send a reply back to the bank. Apparently, the password that was supposed to reach me never did, and i waited and waited while all my hardcopy cash are running dry. But i did not hasten the process, only to call back UOB after 2 week's of waiting. Realise that one could save a lot of money when he's impossible to draw cash! Of course, i still have my good old mini card which is only visa-friendly and un-nets-able. This exam period, i think i have saved more than usual. Without the hard core cash, suppers will tremendously minimised as i just relied on visa, and macdonalds and hawker food doesn't accept visa. Pretty pleased with myself on the saving part, the password should be arriving within these few days, gonna save save save.

Paypal Giving--all proceeds will go to Kaishen

So if you never tried donating via paypal with your debit/credit card, you can test donate any amount over, i would be able to verify for you. =)
Any amount will be appreciated =)
This month has been tremendous in terms of financially. Indeed God is good as He open up doors for you. Doors of finances, doors of favor. Received an unexpected $300 the other day, had a special lunch treat from sinkai's dad, another sum coming on the way prob in dec 2nd week for coordinating tuition. i'm expecting of more to come, not just financially, but also in growth, in ministry! Next week, Pastor is going to reveal the pledge amount, i wonder what it will be this time, could really see with him in this vision and goal.
Kenny from Chec mentioned something during the fellowship which strike me thinking. Ya, its the Kenny that really knows how to groove and dance and also the principal of Chec. He just came back Las Vegas and he mentioned that the entire street was full of glamour and nice lightings with magnificant building structures and excellent architecture that it almost felt like a heaven on earth but infact with all the casinos and nightclubs, it should be sin to the core...
Why should a church be shabby and ghastly and small when it is meant to be the house of Jehovah God that provides and creator of everything? I was teaching sinkai on similes, yah you learn that in primary school eg. as cool as cucumber, as brave as lion etc etc. Why must it be as poor as a churchmouse? Can you imagine a little small shabby church in the middle of glamour glamour Las Vegas? Like that how to fight?
Am excited over this coming marketplace church! Wonder how it will be like. Was talking to Weisiang that day and he said Pastor Cho's church in Korea is so big, the congregation sits in 4-5 levels of storeys when he was there last month. I got the cheapest ticket for the calgary stampede in Canada and it led me to 7th storey of the stadium. The place was so huge that there were big escalators everywhere. Could imagine our church to be that big in the future.
Think now during service, we need to treasure the chance of sitting close to the stage, it used to be weekly affair of sitting at the 3rd/4th row at jurong west, then it got a bit more challenging at expo. Could expect this to be even more challenging when we move over.
Could remember the days in Hollywood where we used to get superly excited over a building that was not up. People will be cheering as we screened the videos. I loved church videos, i remember when i was new at church, i would also take note if the projection screen was prepared because that would mean they will be screening videos during service. Even though the building was not up, i could remember people cheering as they watched the artist impression of the building as it was played and eventually weekly regular updates on the structure's construction. 7 years of sacrifice led to a 100% growth while we are at jurong west! Wait till we see wat God can do when we shift again!
Any insider information on what the pledge amount is? I'm sure God knows , maybe you can check it out with Him. =)
You can verify whether He spoke by next week
