in river valley, we used to write book reviews every month. Every single month since sec 1 to sec 4, it always daunt upon me the value of writing book reviews. Every month for english, we submit 2 book reviews and 4 newspaper article comments, for chinese we submit 2 book reviews. This is a by-default homework...on top of that we still have the frequent test, homeworks etc etc. Most of the time, we would copy the book reviews since we practically had no time to read 2 books every month given the heavy homework and the same book review would be rotated throughout the level to be copied. Teachers themselves know that despite us students thinking how smart we are, rephrasing the words to the book review. That really defeats the purpose, wonder if rv still practises this now

i remember book reviews will always start with......"this book is about......the author uses a unique way of writing about......i like this book because of its....." Sometimes the book reviews are written by the student who has never even flipped the book, they just write according to what was written at the back of the cover.

Anyway, am planning to write what i learn from this current book by Pastor Phil.I always seems to forget what i read in a book. Thinking of spending one afternoon tomorrow to go into deep re-reading of this book. Yah am 1/4 through, but its been so long since i got back, really lost the momentum le, so re read...

Oh yah, this time round, i wont be writing what i read on the book cover...

Psst God, let me hear from you through this book...i want to know you even more...
