my 3 movies last week

This new year, i watched 3 shows- Protege, Notes of a scandal and Half Nelson. Realise there was some similarities between the 3 show i've watched

All 3 are age restricted shows. Protege is NC16 and the other 2 english shows are M18

Protege and Half Nelson --drug related shows.

Half nelson and Notes on a scandal--Student falls in love with teacher, female student with male teacher, male student with female teacher.

Half Nelson and Notes On A Scandal- both movies take place mostly in a school. Scenes do not show them teaching, in Half Nelson, the main lead doesnt seem to know what he is teaching.

Half Nelson and Notes on a scandal- The teachers seem to have a split personality, in school and outside school, leading a double life

All 3 movies reminded me how real the plot could be, that even though we are in the comfort in secured singapore, such things do take place in this world. Afterall we live in a broken down world, there are such people around.

fell asleep halfway through Half Nelson, felt that the plot is moving too slowly.
