First trip out myself with Kyle

okie, this is my 1st trip out on my own, just i wanted it to be. I think i belong to those type that dont really like to driven ard as i would want to experience how the native citizens lived. Its kyle's first time taking public transport also. Photo is taken outside my aunt's house, waiting to take the bus 54 out to the c-train sation

Kyle flashing the bus tickets---no ezlink, not even transitlink...caveman technology as compared to sg. Its expensive too..cad19.50 for 10 bus tickets, standard pricing for all distance!
this is how the public bus looks like, it nice and cosy with a friendly driver. People here greet the drivers when they board and alight. Its a weird thing if you do nt greet. Being a bus driver here is not too bad as compared to ours which drives a sardine packed 179 bus
punchhole kind of bus ticket, it shows the day and time taken, free transit for 1.5 hrs on this ticket

my aunt stays at dalhousie-which is on the far left most(like our boonlay) and going into downtown is just like 20mins!! which is the green laminated areas! note that travelling on train within the town is free!first place that we went..really nice devonian gardens. Its the kind of place where you want to hold your matrimony in! Its inside a mall call td square

trying hard to look mean, nah...failed in this area..hee

the special structure is called the calgary tower which is one of the tourist attractions to see the city landscape at a height!
canadians ae mad abt hockey, this is one of the things evolved when you mix moose, bear and hockey together. its just like having a merlion that wears a s-league jersey or the courtesy lion wearing a able tennis jersey...hmm....haha weird combi

alamak!
sitting on the transparent flooring, comparing my feet n kyle's

something interesting on the train is that it runs on ground, so if there's a bus that blocks its way, it will horn at the bus and wait. something different from what we get to see in singapore
the day ended with visiting eau claire market(clear watermarket) and the island behind it. It rained a bit when we were there. everything was wet. Prince's island is just a typical park wih a lot of mosquitoes. the bridge was pretty much the highlight with a good scenic view of bow river. =)

din expect we spent so much at calgary tower that i ran out of physical cash and kyle was hungry. end up sharing subway with him. =) should have prepared more cash.
